Mercedes "Mechi" Lambre was born in La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she trained in acting, singing and dancing. She has studied various types of dance, including Spanish dances, street dance and jazz dance. She has also studied voice and theatre. She started her professional career as a model on Ultísima, a TV paid signal, and Violetta being her first participation on a fictional TV show. She is best known for playing the role of Ludmila Ferro in the smash hit TV show Violetta. She'll be working on season 3 of Violetta in March/April.
